Letter to the family

Dear future host family, My name is Ava, I am 20 years old and I live in Ireland. I am so excited for the opportunity to become your au pair! I love working with children and I come from a big family, I'm the eldest of 5 children and have babysat for many years. I've worked in childcare for 2 years and have enjoyed every moment of it. I hope to combine my love for childcare with my passion to learn about different cultures. I love travelling and working with children so this is my dream job.

Experience

The reason I want to become an au pair is to spend time looking after children and having new experiences as it is what brings me joy. I have never been an au pair before but I have always wanted to, I am so happy to have the opportunity to be an au pair now. I have lots of experience working with children aged between 0-15 years old. I've worked in a creche for a few months and I'm currently working in a local pre-school which I have been employed in for the past 2 years. I have college education to work in pre-schools and creche. I have a level 5 PLC in Early Learning and Care. I have 4 younger siblings aged between 0-18 years and I have helped care for my siblings and have a special bond with all of them. I have also babysat for friends and family in the past few years. I had animals growing up including a dog, a cat,a rabbit and guinea pigs so I can also care for animals if needed.
