Letter to the family

Friendly, reliable, and compassionate, I am seeking an au pair position in Copenhagen to immerse myself in Danish culture while contributing to family life in a meaningful way. Having previously travelled in Denmark, I fell in love with the lifestyle and values, and I’m excited about the opportunity to return and be part of a local family.

My creative background helps me engage with children through imaginative activities, storytelling, and outdoor play. I also love sports and enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s exploring new places, going for walks, or simply being active in nature.

I am also a keen traveller and thrive on new experiences and enjoy adapting to different environments.

I bring a warm, caring approach to everything I do and am confident in my ability to support a family with kindness, patience, and responsibility. I’m looking forward to becoming part of a welcoming household in Copenhagen and building strong, lasting connections.

Experience

I have volunteered at a local after school club for primary school age children. My role was to: play games and entertain the children, assist the children with homework, prepare snacks and clean up afterwards. During my time volunteering I was nominated for and won a Jack Petchey award for my contributions.

Also, I have an 11 year old brother who I have been babysitting since I was age 12. This has given me valuable hands-on experience in caring for children. I’ve learned how to be patient, responsible, and creative in keeping him entertained and safe.

Becoming an au pair is a special chance for me to fully experience life in a country I love, improve my language skills, and become part of a warm family. I’m looking forward to bringing my creativity, kindness, and enthusiasm into your home and learning so much from you in return.
