Letter to the family

Dear future host family,

My name is Lilly, I am 18 years old and come from Dresden in Saxony, Germany. I currently live in Burkau, a small village, and attend a nearby vocational school. There, I am pursuing my Abitur (high school diploma) with a focus on health and social sciences.

I have been very interested in Finland for a long time, and my greatest dream is to study in this wonderful country. As part of my 12th grade class, I even wrote a project paper about Finland and SISU (Sunday School of Social Sciences).

I am a responsible, determined, and motivated person. I have already gained some experience in childcare: For example, after completing a course, I was able to coach children aged 4 to 14 in a sports club for three years. I really enjoy playing with children, teaching them new things, and supporting them with everyday tasks.

In my free time, I act in theater, enjoy reading, and am very active in sports, all of which I enjoy incorporating into my work with children. It's especially important to me to be a loving and reliable caregiver.

I would be delighted to meet you and become part of your family life.
