Hi there! My name is Zhe, I prefer be called Gabriella. I’m 26 years old now, and can’t wait to go to another nation and embrace a different culture!

Here is some basic information about me. I was born in Yitong, Jilin. Grew up in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. Went for university and had a job in Changsha, Hunan. I worked for a trading company for almost 5 years, I quitted it in March, 2025 and started my gap year! Hopefully I can find a host family in France.

Grew up in a traditional Chinese family, I became a tidy and caring person like my parents. My mom has 2 brothers and my dad has 4 sisters and 2 brothers, they are both the youngest kids, so most of my cousins are older than me, and most of them already have a family. I had my first nephew when I was 8, I remember nothing could take us apart when we met, I was so into taking care of him and he thought I was the best auntie in the world. Now I have 9 nieces and nephews, I babysat them all, and of course I babysat my baby brother the most, he is 12 years old now but I think he’s always a baby to me.

As for why I want to be an Au Pair, I’m gonna say I’m eager to live in another country for a while and experience a different culture. Due to my financial situation, I can only afford for several days for travling in Europe. Au Pair program provides a wonderful chance for me to achieve my dream, plus I got to babysit kids, which I’m good at and like to do.

I would say I’m good at having a life, I have a passion at cooking and I cook for myself everyday. I’m also a good driver, although I don’t own a car, I usually had to drive company’s car to run some errands. As for my personal interests, I enjoy doing sports like running and hiking. I’m also a huge musical fan, I would practice singing some songs from Hamilton or Wicked.

I’m in total an easy-going person, I also have enough patience for kids. I think it’s important to let them be a kind person and grow good habits when they are little.
