George (22 / Mr. ), British, Student - Art / Commerce / Management living in United Kingdom looking for Au Pair job in Italy for 2-6 Months

Hi! My name is George. I'm a 21 year-old student currently studying Italian and Linguistics at Oxford University. I am currently on a year abroad, looking for ways to improve my Italian and experience the culture. Since October 2024 I have been studying at Bologna University, but am looking to move to Sicily in March.

I am friendly, clean and tidy, and sociable but not in an obnoxious way (Basically I'm always happy to chat!). I have many years experience living with others, as I have lived with lots of different people at university, and know how to respect boundaries and personal space, and look after myself. I also love cooking, and am currently trying to learn as many Italian dishes as I can!

I have lots of experience in childcare, in various different ways. At school, I would look after my teacher's kids a couple nights a week, where we would play board games and talk before putting them to bed. I also worked for 2 years at an English language summer school, called Our World English Schools (OWES). We were responsible for organising and running sport activities (such as soccer, basketball, tennis etc.), and evening social activities (such as quizzes, karaoke and talent shows). There was often a large group of Italian children from Napoli, and became quite close with a few of them since I knew a little Italian.
