Letter to the family
Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Noppamas, but you can call me Mild. I’m 24 years old and I’m originally from Thailand. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business English. I’m a friendly, caring, and responsible person who loves spending time with children and learning about new cultures and languages.
I had the opportunity to care for my two young nephews for nearly three months. During that time, I took full responsibility for their daily routines—from the moment they woke up until bedtime. I prepared simple meals, helped feed them, assisted with homework, and ensured their safety and hygiene. We spent a lot of time doing fun and creative activities together such as drawing, painting, and playing educational games. I also told them bedtime stories every night and talked with them about their day, encouraging open conversations and emotional expression.
We often enjoyed outdoor activities like playing badminton, walking in the park, and even going on trips to the beach. The boys grew very attached to me, and I to them. I guided them with love and reason, never through punishment. I believe children should be allowed to explore and express themselves freely, as it helps them grow and learn. When something was unsafe or inappropriate, I would explain calmly and with understanding.
This experience made me realize how much I love being around children—supporting their growth, teaching them new things, and simply being part of their world. That’s why I am very motivated to become an Au Pair. It’s more than just a job for me—it’s a meaningful opportunity to care for children, become a part of a new family, and experience life in a different culture. I believe this journey could be truly life-changing.
If I have the chance to join your family, I promise to be a loving, dependable, and respectful Au Pair. I’ll always look for creative and engaging activities to support your children’s development while also helping with daily tasks. I am ready to give my best, not just as a caregiver but as someone who will support and care for your children like an older sister.
Thank you very much for considering me. I’m excited to hopefully become a part of your family and create beautiful memories together.
Warm regards,
Noppamas (Mild)
