Hey dear future host family,

My name is Emily, I am 18 years old and I come from Germany. I am writing to express my sincere interest in becoming your next Au Pair. It has always been a dream of mine to experience life in a different country, and I believe that working as an Au Pair offers a great opportunity to connect learning new things and new Cultures while working with children. I’ve always loved working with children — I enjoy being around kids because of their energy, honesty, and creativity. I’d love to be a big sister figure in your family, helping out with daily routines and making sure your kids have fun, feel safe, and supported.

I believe you should host me because I’m positive, easygoing, and responsible. I’m curious about different cultures, and I adapt quickly to new situations. I’d bring warmth, kindness, and a good sense of humor to your home!

Experience

I have a bit of experience with kids thanks to my younger sister, who I’ve helped look after since she was little. Besides that, I’ve spent a lot of time around children — I work in an indoor playground, where I supervised and played with kids of different ages.

I’d love to become an Au Pair abroad because I really enjoy working with children and I’m curious about experiencing daily life in a different country. It’s a great opportunity to learn about a new culture, meet new people, and be part of a family while doing something meaningful.
