Letter to the family

Hello, nice to meet you!

My name is Biancasofia, I'm Italian, a native Italian speaker, but I also have Canadian citizenship (I'm not a native English speaker, but I currently have an A2-B1 intermediate level). Unfortunately, I've never lived in Canada, but I do have a Canadian passport.

This summer, I'm taking care of two children (ages 10 and 13) here in Italy, and a 2.5-year-old girl. After that, around November/December, I'd like to leave for my first adventure as an au pair!

I consider myself a very flexible, dynamic, and responsible person. I am happy to help not only with your children but also with light housework or small errands . I hope to have the opportunity to get to know you better through a new experience with you.

For this experience, I would prefer English-speaking countries to improve my language skills, but if you are an English-speaking family living in a non-English-speaking country, feel free to contact me! (Not Italian families)

Experience

I'd like to try this new experience because I believe I have the maturity and confidence to handle unusual situations in a country other than my own, taking care of the little ones.

It would also be a great opportunity to improve my English and, why not, even teach Italian to the family who wants to host me.

I love traveling and meeting new people and places. Children have always been a part of my life. From a young age, I looked after my cousins, and now I'm lucky enough to be an aunt and take care of my nieces and nephews in my free time. I usually connect easily with the little ones, and I enjoy creating fun, carefree moments with them.

I've been a seasonal entertainer in Italy for children aged 3 to 12, as well as babysitting.
As for living with other people, I've had several experiences abroad since I was 17 as an exchange student, where I lived for a year with a host family in Brazil, with whom I'm still in touch. I also lived for a year in Lisbon with people from other countries, and I traveled mainly in Europe.
