Letter to the family
Dear Family!
I'm Damari, and I love being called Dam.
I currently live in Lima, Peru, a beautiful country. I'm very excited to apply as an Au Pair through AuPair. I've always had a passion for childcare and am eager for the experience of being part of a family abroad.
I'm very interested in learning more about your family and your culture. I'm sure this experience will be enriching for both you and me. I'd be happy to help, share my customs, and learn about yours.
I thank you in advance for the opportunity to be part of your family and am available to answer any questions you may have.
I am a responsible and committed person. I always strive to fulfill my responsibilities and ensure the well-being of the children in my care. I consider myself patient and understanding, which are essential when working with children. I know that each child is unique, and I adapt my approach to their needs. I adapt easily to new situations and am willing to learn from the family. Maintaining an open attitude is key to integrating into a new environment. I like to maintain open and respectful communication with the family to ensure everything runs smoothly. I have experience caring for children of different ages, from 1 to 12 years old, and I always strive to create a safe, fun, and educational environment for them. I have babysat for my nephews, cousins, and my younger sister. I was babysitting my cousin Gabriel when he was 1 and a half years old for a period of 3 months, since at that time my aunt needed help. We went to the park, played soccer, we really liked eating snacks and watching movies, and his favorite game of the day is playing "Playstation." I also babysat my cousin when she was 1. I helped her mother, taking care of her and helping with chores. After a while, my cousin, at 4 years old, took her to school and helped with her homework in the afternoons, teaching her and creating a fun environment. She loved playing with Barbies. Now she enjoys playing outdoors with her friends her age.
In addition to babysitting, I cook, play sports, help with chores, and also help with school activities and creative activities. I consider myself a responsible, empathetic, and adaptable person, qualities that I consider essential for working as an au pair.
My motivation for being an au pair is the opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture and learn about it while sharing my own. I believe that living with a local family is the best way to truly get to know a country and its people. I seek to grow personally through this experience, improving my adaptability and independence. I've always wanted to live in another country and experience everyday life with a different family. This experience will also give me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and create unforgettable memories.
Being an au pair would allow me not only to take care of them, but also to accompany them as they grow, offering support and fun.
I really enjoy outdoor activities, such as going for walks in parks, playing sports, and I really like volleyball. I love summer, the sun, and the sea—I love it!
In my free time, I really enjoy listening to music, talking with my friends, going for walks, or watching movies.
I would like to have new experiences and make friends.
I hope to grow personally by facing new challenges. This experience will help me mature and discover more about myself. I hope to integrate into the daily life of a Spanish family, learning about their traditions, customs, and way of life. At the same time, I would like to share my culture while discovering the cultural richness of Spain.
