My name is Dylan, and I am a 24-year-old from London with a strong background in working with children, a creative mindset, and a deep passion for cultural exchange. I’m currently seeking the opportunity to join a welcoming family in Paris as an au pair or manny starting this September.

Growing up, I was fortunate to have four Au Pairs, which gave me a unique understanding of how positive this dynamic can be for both families and young people. Additionally, I spent a lot of time supporting my mum in her work as a headteacher. I worked as a teaching assistant in two of her schools, which gave me invaluable hands-on experience nurturing and supporting children of various ages and needs. During the pandemic, I also supported the children of key workers, helping them stay engaged, emotionally supported, and on track with their learning during an incredibly challenging time.

Alongside my experience with children, I studied Product Design at university in Bristol — I love all things creative, from arts and crafts to problem-solving activities. I’m also a passionate runner and generally very active, which means I bring lots of energy to the children I look after, whether we’re playing games outdoors, doing fun creative projects, or exploring new things together.

Over the past few months, I’ve been travelling through South America, which has deepened my appreciation for language and culture. I’ve visited Paris many times through friends who studied there, and I’ve completely fallen in love with the city. I’m now determined to learn French and immerse myself more fully in Parisian life while sharing my English language and culture with the children I care for.
