Letter to the family
Originally translated from Français
Dear future family,
I am a dynamic and vibrant woman, soon to be 51 years old next June, and the mother of two grown daughters aged 24 and 18. With the recent departure of my daughter Zoé, who is currently enjoying a wonderful experience as an au pair to improve her English, and the house empty, I thought: why not me? This is how my desire to become a Granny Au Pair was born, to improve my English while supporting a family. My English is rich in vocabulary, although I still have some difficulty speaking it fluently due to a lack of practice. However, I manage very well, and I am convinced that my oral fluency will develop quickly once immersed in your family.
Available, curious, and always ready to learn new things, I currently work as a wellness therapist, specializing in positive psychology. I raised my daughters with a caring yet structured approach, emphasizing open communication, natural accountability, and autonomy. My educational approach focuses on awareness, developing reflective thinking, and empowering them to make their own choices and actions. I am also an outstanding negotiator, able to enter the world of children and teens with tact, humor, and respect. I have no problem with new strategies, creative references, or the famous "level-ups" of this imaginative generation!
Passionate about cooking, gardening, hiking, and walking, I also love organizing fun and creative activities with children. Full of humor, kindness, and common sense, I love to laugh, create, and share authentic and friendly moments. My mind is naturally oriented toward positivity, always favoring the search for solutions rather than dwelling on problems.
My goal is to provide your family with reliable and warm support, while sharing my life experience in a subtle way, without ever being intrusive or burdensome.
I look forward to meeting you and beginning this wonderful adventure together!
Sincerely,
Your future Granny Au Pair
