Letter to the family

Hello, my name is Celyna, I'm Brazilian and I'm 25 years old.
I would like to be Au pair to have new experiences, get to know other cultures, improve my English and, if possible, learn other languages before I graduate from college.
I study veterinary medicine, and I know that over time it will become more and more difficult for me to be able to have these experiences. After finishing college I will have to do residency and specialize in some area, so I will not have time for other things. So I decided that now would be the right time for me to take a break from college and prioritize the knowledge of new places and cultures.
I decided to apply as an Au pair because I am very good at taking care of people (children and the elderly). Particularly, I am completely in love with children, and I usually get along very well with them.
I have experience with children of all ages, because I took care of my cousins of different ages and I took care of my niece from birth until she was 4 years old, and i only stopped take care of her because i moved to another state because of college, but I am still taking care her and other cousins of similar ages whenever I return home. I also have experience in caring for the elderly, becase I was raised by my grandparents and took care of them from a very young age. I kept company, gave food, helped with the bath, gave the medicines, took then to medical appointments and after I turned 18, I also started sleeping with them in the hospital when I was needed.
My grandmother was always very sick and demanded a lot of care and attention, so from a young age I had to be responsible, so that I could take good care of her. I learned very early the importance of having responsibility, and I also learned to stay calm and think clearly in times of crisis, so that I could always take the necessary measures to solve any problem that happened.
I believe that I could be a good Au Pair, because I consider myself capable, responsible and reliable to take care of people, and I also believe that it would be a perfect job for me, becauae I would be doing something that I am good at, and I am already used to do (take care of people), while I would be expanding my horizons, learning new cultures, improving my English and maybe even learning new languages.

Experience

I have never been an au pair before, and my experience in caring for people has been gained in practice, throughout my life.
Since I was very young, I took care of my younger cousins and my grandparents, and since I was responsible for everything that happened to them, I had to learn very early to deal with the fact that I was responsible for them, and anything that happened. it would be my fault.
it made me a very mature and responsible person to take care of others, always putting the well-being of whoever I am taking care of in the first place. I also learned to have patience and a steady pulse.
Taking care of the elderly and children is not an easy job, both are stubborn and like to throw tantrums and do not like to obey rules, but over time I learned that with patience and dialogue, it is possible to solve any problem.
