Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Valerie, I’m 21 years old, and I currently live in Minnesota, USA. I come from a big, loving family with three sisters and four brothers, so caring for children and supporting a busy household has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve grown up surrounded by younger siblings, including a newborn sister, which has given me hands on experience, patience, and a deep love for nurturing little ones.

I want to become an Au Pair and Nanny because I truly enjoy helping children grow, learn, and feel safe. I believe in creating a positive, structured, and warm environment where kids can thrive emotionally and intellectually. I also see this as an opportunity to connect with a new culture, grow as a person, and contribute meaningfully to a family’s daily life.

I have been a Nanny since I was 15 and always enjoyed being around others. I love enjoying the world and seeing it with little ones. I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for children through my own family, extended family and friends. Coming from a large household with younger siblings, including a newborn sister. I’ve spent years helping with childcare routines like feeding, changing, bathing, playing, and homework support. I have patience, responsibility, and a natural understanding of children’s needs and emotions.

I would love to become an Au Pair or Nanny abroad because I’m passionate about kids and excited by the chance to experience a new world or traveling and culture.This role gives me the opportunity to connect with a new family, provide care and companionship to their children, and learn firsthand about life in another country.
