Letter to the family

Hi! My name is Zayn, and I have been a language tutor and babysitter for more than 12 years; I grew up as the second oldest of five children, and have always loved using my skills as an artist and tutor to enrich children in my life!

I have experience with children with autism and learning disabilities, and my background as a mental health worker provides me with the skills and patience to act (not react) with children of all ages. I’ve been described as a serene, playful and mindful babysitter, who can set boundaries clearly and always with kindness.

Conflict management is a conversation for me (with both parents and children), and I don’t ascribe to punitive or negative reinforcement in my approach. I am an open book and would love to hear from you soon!

Experience

Because of my very travel-heavy childhood courtesy of my parents jobs, I’ve lived in many different countries and have always helped around in the expat community with child care and tutoring since I was a teenager; it’s a job that has always felt both natural and very fulfilling, as I also have three siblings I helped raise! I’d like to apply those skills to this space.
