Hi, my name is Gaia, I’m 21 years old, and I come from a town in central Italy called Viterbo, not far from the capital, Rome. I’m a university student majoring in Primary Education, and I study in Rome at the well-known university La Sapienza. I chose this path because I love the way children have a unique perspective on the world, and I want to share my passion for knowledge and learning with them. I also like the idea of laying the foundation for something greater in their future.
I’m a cheerful, patient, and sincere person. I enjoy drawing, I love music (especially playing the piano), and sports are an essential part of my life. In fact, I played volleyball for 11 years until last year, and this year I became a referee.
I’ve had experience with children since I was 18. I was a summer camp counselor at my parish for two years, I also worked during that time as a volleyball coach for young children, and last summer I helped a girl with her homework.
Additionally, this year I began doing internships in both elementary schools and preschools in Italy, and I also had a two-and-a-half-week experience in Marseille, France, as part of a program organized by my university.
