Letter to the family

Hello dear host families!

My name is Pop, I am 20 years old and I come from Thailand. I have completed high school and I am very interested in the German language and culture.

I already have experience with children, as I often took care of my aunt’s child. It is a Thai-Swedish child, about 5 years old. I love playing with children, reading them stories, and doing crafts together.
I also have experience in caring for elderly people, as I helped take care of them in a meditation camp.

I am a cheerful, open-minded, and responsible person. I adapt well to new situations and enjoy working with other people.

In my free time, I like to read books about Buddhism, meditate regularly, go hiking in nature, and do outdoor activities. I am interested in living a peaceful and mindful life and I enjoy spending time outdoors.

I would love to become an au pair in Germany to improve my German, get to know a new culture, and grow personally. I really enjoy working with children and I believe that I can learn a lot in a loving host family.

At the moment, I am studying German intensively and preparing for the A1 exam, which I plan to take in July or August.

I am available from September 2025 and I would be very happy to find a kind and loving family that gives me a chance.

Experience

I would like to become an Au Pair in Germany because I love spending time with children and I enjoy learning about different cultures. I believe that living with a host family is a great way to experience everyday life in a new country while also improving my language skills.

Being an Au Pair gives me the chance to grow personally, become more independent, and prepare myself for future goals. I also want to build strong relationships with people from around the world and be a part of a loving family abroad.

I’m especially interested in German culture and lifestyle, and I think this program will give me a deep understanding of the country, its people, and traditions.
