Letter to the family
.My name is Shuai Xinyi, you can call me Skyler. I’m a senior student from Jiangxi, majoring in Business English. As the class monitor and head of student organizations during my university years, I’ve gained extensive experience in interacting and collaborating with peers of diverse ages, which has cultivated my strong sense of responsibility. I always approach tasks with sincerity and seriousness, have a passion for learning new things, and can quickly adapt to new jobs and environments. Additionally, I possess excellent communication and coordination skills, along with a strong sense of punctuality. I look forward to meeting you and creating wonderful memories!
.I’ve been studying English for nearly 18 to 20 years, but I’ve always lacked opportunities to have in-depth conversations with native English speakers. I’m passionate about language learning. Besides English, I’m also deeply interested in Korean and enjoy communicating with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. As I approach graduation, I’m eager to have a unique experience and apply my knowledge and skills in real-life situations. Becoming an au pair is a win-win to me.
.As a Business English major holding a Chinese national junior high school English teaching certificate, I can not only tutor children in Chinese with standard pronunciation (Mandarin Level 2, Grade A) but also enhance their language skills using systematic English teaching methods. My English proficiency is proven by achieving high scores in CET-4, CET-6, and TEM-4 on the first attempt, enabling me to communicate effectively in both daily conversations and academic discussions. Having lived in the ethnic minority regions of northwest China for 15 years and then in southern cities for 7 years, I have a deep understanding of cultural differences and can quickly adapt to various living environments and family values. Whether it’s organizing family cultural activities or facilitating communication across diverse backgrounds, my excellent coordination skills and inclusive mindset make me a reliable asset for maintaining a good condition.
.With my teaching certificate and business English expertise, I can design engaging study plans, while my Mandarin proficiency and language learning experience help children build a solid Chinese foundation. In terms of daily care, my 15-year life in the northwest and 7-year experience in southern China have equipped me with strong adaptability to different climates and living habits. My past roles as class monitor and student organization leader have honed my time management skills, allowing me to efficiently handle household chores, care for children, and pursue self-improvement.
