Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a very warm and loving family. I have a son, and my husband is the owner of a company. We enjoy doing sports, traveling, and cooking delicious food. We live in the city center of Bao'an District, Shenzhen. Shenzhen is a very modern, colorful city with a beautiful environment and convenient living conditions. There are subways, business districts, shopping malls, hospitals, schools, and supermarkets around.

We hope that our au pair can take care of my son and provide him with an immersive language environment so that he can speak English fluently. We will also provide Chinese language courses for our au pair, enabling him/her to learn Chinese, fall in love with China, fall in love with Shenzhen, and fall in love with this wonderful city.

Job Description

Our home is quite spacious, featuring four bedrooms and a large living room. We will provide our au pair with a private room, complete with Wi-Fi access, ensuring a comfortable and convenient living space where they can relax and unwind after a day of activities.

The residential community we live in is not only impeccably clean but also extremely secure, with 24-hour security patrols and advanced access control systems. The environment here is simply wonderful, adorned with lush greenery, beautiful gardens, and well-maintained walking paths. It's a peaceful oasis within the bustling city, perfect for strolling, jogging, or simply enjoying the fresh air.

We truly believe in treating our au pair as an integral part of our family. We look forward to sharing heartwarming conversations, learning from one another, and growing together on this cultural exchange journey. We're eager to introduce them to the rich tapestry of Chinese culture, from the enchanting traditions passed down through generations, like the art of calligraphy, the elegance of Chinese tea ceremonies, to the joyous celebrations of festivals such as Spring Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival.

In return, we hope our au pair will be delighted to share the unique aspects of their home country, whether it’s the vibrant local cuisine that tantalizes the taste buds, the captivating cultural customs, or the time-honored traditions that have shaped their heritage. Through these mutual exchanges, we're confident that we'll become a close-knit family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Accommodation

We will provide three meals a day for our au pair. Most of the time, we enjoy traditional Chinese cuisine, savoring the rich flavors of dishes like stir - fries, dumplings, and braised delicacies that showcase the diversity of Chinese culinary art.

However, if our au pair has a craving for Western cuisine, we'd be more than happy to roll up our sleeves and cook together. Whether it's baking a pizza from scratch, preparing a classic Italian pasta dish, or roasting a succulent chicken, it would be a wonderful opportunity to share and learn about Western food culture while enjoying the fruits of our labor.

Moreover, if there are any other special foods or ingredients our au pair desires, we can go shopping together at the supermarket. Exploring the aisles, discovering new ingredients, and then returning home to cook and share a meal is not only about satisfying our taste buds but also about building a deeper connection through the universal language of food.
