Anne-Claire and Thibault, 35 years old, natives of Aix en Provence.

Our family consists of Oscar, born in 2020 (4 years old) and Anouk, born in 2024 (7 months old). Two adorable, curious and polite children.

Oscar loves playing outside, in the garden, and has a passion for DIY.
He's always cheerful and up for manual activities, playing KAPLA, lego, playmobil...
And on Wednesday mornings he has a tennis lesson.

He is in his second year of kindergarten at a private school 15 minutes' walk from the house.
We would like our au pair to collect Oscar from school at 4.20 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'll pick him up myself on Fridays.

Anouk adores her brother and observes everything he does. She smiles a lot and adapts easily.
She goes to the crèche on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our au pair can also pick her up.
Our au pair will help me with the children every Wednesday, when I accompany Oscar to tennis, or when there are activities/outings planned, and will be in charge of Anouk every Friday at home.

My husband and I work in real estate development. My office is at home, so our au pair won't be home alone all day.

We love the quality of life that Aix-en-Provence has to offer: it's a magnificent town on a human scale, with a pedestrian-only downtown area and close proximity to Marseille (30 minutes by car/bus). Our au pair will be able to discover our region easily during her free time.

Generally, free time will be at weekends, but we can define off-times to suit the family's schedule.
For example, one week there could be a day off during the week and another on the weekend,
Then another for the whole weekend.

We're lucky enough to have a house with a garden and a small swimming pool, and to be a 15-minute walk from the town center.
We have an electric bike that can be used by our au pair.

Our au pair will be like a member of the family, a “cousin” for the children, who will have her own independent studio to have her moments, her privacy. The studio will have its own kitchen, and we'll be able to share 2/3 meals a week together.

We would like our au pair to go on vacation with us, generally one week in the mountains in winter, and at least two weeks on the Atlantic coast in summer.

We want our au pair to respect the rules of the house: no screens for the children, be polite, be careful, respect the house, the objects, be very clean (I'm very fussy).

Finally, my husband and I are beginners in English, so this will be an opportunity for us to improve our level, and for our au pair to learn to speak French!
