My name is Paul. My wife, Jacqueline, and I live in a village about 60 km south of Lyon. We are both 85 years old. We were both schoolteachers.
Taking French lessons in the vicinity could prove difficult. Yet, as a former schoolteacher I would be ready to help with vocabulary and grammar. Further I will be very happy to exchange in French about literature, politics, sports, history…
I read a lot. We have a lot of books at home.

Job Description

I am physically and mentally fit. My wife suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. I don’t want her to go to a home for elderly people. I want to keep her at home with me. This proves pretty difficult with time because I am on my own.
I would appreciate to have someone who could help me with simple everyday tasks (cooking, laundry, small household tasks) and could take care of my wife when I go on errands.
Jacqueline is a real nice person. She is very often asleep. When she is awake, she has to be taken care of because she does not realise what she is doing. Two days a week she goes to a daycare centre.

We have a car, which you could use. I could ask you to fetch my wife at the daycare centre.
