Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello, nice to meet you and happy that you want to have an experience in Italy.

Up to now we have hosted six Aupairs, we have been able to understand how beautiful it is as an experience. Now for September, we want to start this great adventure again.

Our family lives in an apartment near the center of Florence along the river that crosses it, the Arno. Our neighborhood is very green and full of services, but above all it is crossed by the tram and the main cycle paths of the city, it will not be difficult for you to reach the center or a language school.

Job Description

We parents work from 8:30 in the morning until the evening, around 18:30, the children are at school until 16:30, and therefore it is the Ofer's job to stay with them in the two hours between when they leave school and when we parents return.
Obviously, in the event of a strike or illness of the children, we ask you to help us cover the entire day. Sometimes the grandparents or uncles also come and in that case you can have a day off.

In short, I should work about three hours a day for five days a week, in the event that you come with us on the weekend then you can consider yourself a guest, you will therefore not be required to look after the children directly.

Accommodation

According to a criterion of good cohabitation, we will also ask you to do some basic household chores, such as taking out the garbage, doing the dishwasher, tidying up the children's room and cleaning the bathroom. Mainly you will have to help us keep the children's room tidy also by rearranging their clothes if necessary.

We offer you a bright double room with a bathroom in front for you and the children. The apartment is on the fourth floor, very bright and full of greenery around. We also have a garage where you can put a bicycle, if you want to use it (we will provide it to you!).

At home you can use WiFi, smart TV and everything that you may find useful to relax and communicate with the outside world.
