Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear future Au Pair, we are happy and excited to welcome you here at our little place in the heart of the black forest. We are located 30km east of Freiburg in the Urach Valley. Located by forests and the beauty of the southern German country side.

We ( Kids Gawynn + Napa and Papa Daniel) are looking for an au pair to welcome in our family and perhaps become a new friend to our family.

We are quite an active family, the most of our days are happing outside. If mountainbiking, hikin, skiing, running or skating, we are always trying to be outside.

We will try to give an great experience and a lot of opportunities to explore southern Germany and the surrounding countries like France - Switzerland. We want you to be part of our family and share with you the beauty of this part of the world.

Job Description

One thing is very important: I want a responsible and carrying person who participates in our family time.

What I don't want is someone who disappears in the room and plays with the phone the whole day and doesn't engage with the family.

This a cultural exchange for both so I would like share this journey with an open minded person. To learn and appreciate each other.

Obviously you also have enough time and space for yourself to relax and enjoy your spare time.

About the the daily tasks:
- simple tasks such as getting them ready in the morning.
- taking care of them after school including homework
- playing, singing and crafting with kids
- we have a big property and loads of things to explore outside
- little household tasks
- occasionally bring the kids to classes and clubs
I would love to have someone who is keen to go out with the kids and explore the surroundings or plan some activities by them self.

Own room and bathroom. Fully furnished with everything you need. Of course is free WiFi available throughout the whole house. We have a huge property, with its own playground, forest, BBQ Area and so on.
