Hello. Nice to meet you.
We are a young couple with two children, ages 20 months and 4 years old. We would like to have a native English/German/Portuguese speaker at home to improve the family's language skills and share experiences and cultures. We both work, and the girls attend kindergarten. An au pair could also help my wife when I'm away on business.

Job Description

We're looking for a sweet and empathetic person who loves caring for and playing with children and who understands the stages of child development (because understanding these stages is important for understanding children's behavior).
Our needs are:
- preparing breakfast for the girls; - accompanying the 4-year-old to school from 7:30 to 8:30 (a 20-minute walk from home);
- picking up the 4-year-old from school by 5:00 pm;
- staying with the girls if they're sick while their parents work;
- helping around the house with small household chores, such as:
- tidying up their rooms with the girls (because the girls already know that their rooms need tidying);
- helping tidy up the kitchen after breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
