Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair,

We’re really looking forward to meeting you!
We are a warm and lively family with three children: two curious and energetic little ones (4 and 2 years old) and a newborn.
You won’t need to take care of the baby—your help will mainly be with the older two.

We live in Hagen, a town located between Dortmund and Cologne. The nearest language school is just a 15-minute drive away, and the city center is only 2 km from us. There is a supermarket within a 10-minute walk, and several bus stops are close by.

Our family also includes a small, affectionate dwarf poodle who doesn’t shed and warmly welcomes new people.

We’re looking for a loving, reliable, and open-minded Au Pair who enjoys playing, laughing, and exploring with children—and who would love to become part of our family.

Job Description

We are looking for an Au Pair who spends quality time with our children with warmth and joy, playing, laughing, and lovingly supporting them in their daily routine.
A few light household duties are also part of your role—such as loading and unloading the dishwasher, occasionally tidying the bathroom, and washing your own bedding. It’s important to us that you feel comfortable here and that we work together as a team.
