Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
Dear Future Au Pair,
We are thrilled that you're considering joining our family! My name is Joey, and together with my husband, Liu Xuequan, we live in the beautiful city of Hangzhou. We have a wonderful 4-year-old son, Liu Baiyan, who is full of energy and curiosity. We are a young family—my husband and I were born in the 90s—and we hope to welcome you as both a friend and a part of our family.
About Our Family and Home:
Our family resides in two lovely homes in Hangzhou. One is a spacious villa located in the scenic West Lake area, with a 2,200 square meter living space that includes two beautiful gardens, a cinema, a gym, a swimming pool, a wine cellar, and more. The villa is in a prime location, just a short walk from some of Hangzhou's most famous cultural sites. Our other home is a large, modern apartment in the heart of the financial district, offering stunning river views. It's surrounded by shopping centers, parks, and all the conveniences of city life. Both homes are in the city center, and the drive between them takes just 18 minutes. You 'll have your own private room with a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom, ensuring your comfort and privacy.
Our Daily Life:
As a social media blogger and vlogger, I love capturing our family's adventures, and I'm always seeking out new and exciting experiences. My husband runs a busy international business focused on mother and baby products, and although he often travels for work, he always prioritizes spending quality time with our family. We also have a full team to support us at home, including a driver and three housekeepers, making our daily lives smooth and enjoyable. We cherish family moments, whether it's cooking together, hosting friends, or exploring the beautiful surroundings of Hangzhou. Our son, Baiyan, loves singing, dancing, and staying active, and we hope you'll join him in his daily activities, helping him to learn and grow, particularly in English. Your role will involve engaging with him through play, reading, and conversation, providing a rich environment for his bilingual development.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a warm, patient, and outgoing au pair who can help nurture Baiyan's English language skills through daily interaction and lots of fun. We believe in learning through doing—whether it's chatting about everyday things or exploring the world through books and experiences. Your time here will not only be about teaching but also about cultural exchange. Baiyan can learn English from you, and you can improve your Chinese with us.
