Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Welcome to our family! We are so excited to have you join us and become a part of our daily lives. This will be a new and exciting journey for all of us, and we hope you feel at home here.

We live in Richmond, and I have three wonderful daughters, aged 6, 8, and 10. They are full of energy, curiosity, and kindness, and I’m sure you will enjoy getting to know them. Our routine is quite structured—mornings are busy as they leave for school at 8:00 AM and return home at 3:00 PM. Evenings are for family time, and they go to bed at 8:00 PM.

Your role will be incredibly valuable in helping with their daily routines, engaging them in activities, and being a supportive presence in their lives. We also want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your time here, whether it’s exploring London, making new friends, or learning about our way of life.

Responsibilities:
Assisting with morning and evening routines
Taking the children to and from school (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Engaging the children in fun and educational activities
Helping with homework and school-related tasks
Light household duties related to the children (tidying up, meal prep, laundry)
Ensuring a safe and caring environment
Working Hours:
40 hours per week

As our au pair, you will have a private room in our spacious home in Richmond, London. Your room will be fully furnished with a comfortable bed, storage space, a desk, and a window with natural light. You will have access to high-speed Wi-Fi and a shared bathroom.

Our home is in a safe and beautiful neighborhood, close to parks, shops, and public transport, making it easy to explore London in your free time. You will also have access to all common areas, including the kitchen and living room, and we encourage you to feel at home.
