Work abroad in Rosie's family for 12-12 Months starting from Jul 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 1 children of 1 - 5 years old in Melbourne, Victoria Australia

Hello…we are No and Ro..our full names are Noa and Rosie. We are a bub and mum who live in inner-city Melbourne, Victoria. We are currently looking for a new addition to our family after our beloved au pair, Valentina, leaves to go back to Argentina. Noa is currently 2 years and 4 months and will increase her days at day care to 3 days a week in mid 2025 (when she turns 3). Rosie is a doctor who works 3 days a week.

The job consists of 21 hours a week childcare. 16 hours will be set hours; picking up Noa 2 days a week from day care and spending time with her until I get home (this will amount to 7 hours each week). There will be one full day where you will be expected to provide care (approximately 9 hours). I like to go out for dinner or lunch on the weekend (5 hours max) so this will require negotiation each week. The job also requires some cleaning (2 hours) and some cooking (lunches for Noa and dinner for us 3 times a week). I would be open to negotiating the weekly schedule to allow the right candidate time for classes or a some shifts at a second job.


We are really looking for the right fit for our little family. Noa is a little lady who loves dancing and swimming, Rosie loves cooking and music. We would love someone who is funny, warm, organised and caring. Noa does not have any special needs, except for someone who loves rabbits as much as she does. Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply as Noa is learning a bit of Spanish. Her au pair is happy to provide feedback on the past 2 years that she spent with us.


I pay 220AUD$ a week and you would have your own bathroom and bedroom in our house.

The right person should love babies/children and should have some experience (even if within their own family). It would be great if they had some cooking and cleaning skills as well.Having been an au pair myself, I understand the pros and cons of the au pair experience and am happy to accommodate the right candidate. I welcome the right au pair and their hobbies/friends.

We live in a really nice terrace house in Richmond, Melbourne. You will be staying in a large room with an ensuite and small balcony, upstairs from the rest of the house (yes, you get your own level). We have great neighbours and access to markets, coffee shops, swimming pools, yoga studios, gyms and basically everything you could ask for.
