Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Welcome! We are a young family living on 37 acres of a lifestyle farm property situated in the hills just outside Melbourne. We are situated 45 mins away from Melbourne CBD! We have horses, a dog and cat amoung our children. Our home is a country home , we should have independent living quarters ready for you in 2026 but until then you can stay in the main house with us. We aim to have a gym set up at home in the next 6 months. We are 20 mins to the train station but we should also have transport SUV available to you. There are numerous cafes, malls, shops, and parks all within 20 mins from our home. We are happy to assist you in your goals while you stay with us.

Job Description

The overall goal is to support us with helping with the children and with the home. A combination of childcare and home duties.

In addition to this we need our au pair to be confident with driving with at least 2 years experience as they will be assisting with dropping off the children to a rural school (situated 20-30kms) per trip. These roads require mid level confidence. We can help you gain that confidence should you be worried.

Accommodation

Our property is situated on 37 acres over rolling hills. We have kangaroos, wild deer, wombats, hawks, koalas, horses, stables, a shed.
Our accomodation will initially be in the main house with your own room. A second bathroom will be allocated to you. As we complete the cottage outside by 2026 you have the choice of having your own space in a cottage adjacent to the house with own kitchen hen/bathroom ect.

We have internet, an espresso coffee machine, ect
We aim to have a gym set up at the property as well.

We have a SUV and work truck.
