Welcome to Bordeaux !
My family lives close to the city centre, next to a tram station and train station, making it very easy to get around (15 minutes by tram to Bordeaux city centre and 8 minutes by train to Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station).
You'll also enjoy the proximity to some vineyards and parcs, for enjoyable strolls on sunny afternoons.
The sea is reachable by train for a day-trip as Bordeaux is located close to the Bassin d'Arcachon.
I'm confident you'll love this part of France and look forward to having you stay with our little family of two.
Job Description
- early mornings, i.e. getting her ready for Daycare and dropping her off (Daycare centre is round the block, a 5-minute walk from home) then you're done for the day :)
- evenings, i.e. picking her up from Daycare and looking after her until I get home from work around 11pm;
- weekends: certain Saturdays or Sundays, looking after her the whole time I'm working, which could be either from early morning til afternoon (early shift) or afternoon until evening (late shift).
No need for a driver's licence as the Daycare centre is walking distance from home.
On some occasion, there is the opportunity to travel and look after Celeste while I'm working away from home (EU zone, up to 4 days max at a time), therefore I would mention this as a special requirement so the Granny Au Pair joining our family would be aware and open to a couple of short trips during her stay.
