Dear future au pair!
We are a family of seven. My name is Irmengard, but most people call me Irmi. I am 42 years old. My husband, Michael, is 46, and we have five children.
Paul will be 18 this summer and is in vocational training.
Emma is 15 and is in 10th grade at high school.
Emil is 10 and is in 5th grade at high school.
Lotta will be 4 this fall and is starting kindergarten.
Oskar is our youngest; he will be 2 this fall and recently started daycare.
I work as a nurse at a hospice, and my husband is a production manager at a carpentry shop. Unfortunately, we both have very flexible work schedules, which means we need help caring for Lotta and Oskar. Your responsibilities include taking Lotta and Oskar
to and picking them up from kindergarten, playing with them in the afternoons, accompanying them to the playground, going to the outdoor pool in the summer, and occasionally preparing lunch for Lotta, Oskar, and Emil. Additionally, it's your job to help Emil with his homework; otherwise, he's very independent and often out and about pursuing his hobbies.
We live very centrally, and the kindergarten, sports facilities, outdoor pool, and indoor pool are all within walking distance. Künzelsau, the nearest small town, is 8 km away and can be reached by bus in 15 minutes; your language school is also located here.
We usually spend our weekends around the house on Saturdays, and on Sundays we like to go on excursions and hikes with picnics.
