Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Aupair,
We are 4 in our family, there's me, Arianna, my husband Luigi and our little girls, Carlotta (4 years old) and Beatrice (6 months old). We live in Perugia, in a detached house near the town centre (8 minutes by car, 20 minutes by public transports) and near all the services that you may need (language schools, Universities, malls, sporting facilities, train station...)
We decided to become a guesting family because we think that it's a meaningful experience to share our lives with people coming form different countries. We will do our best to make you feel welcomed and at your
ease. My husband and I speak English (c1 level), we aim to improve our English and we really want our little daughters to gradually learn this language, in a natural and familiar context.
During your stay you will help us taking care of our girls, for a maximum of 15 hours per week, playing with them and speaking English with all of us and you will receive a weekly pocket money. Of course you will have time for yourself and your interests/studies, as well as you can join us for spare activities if you want to...I'm sure we will find the proper balance for your stay.

Job Description

Your duty will be to look after our daughters, in the afternoon after school, for a maximum of 15 hours per week. We would like you to speak English with Carlotta and Beatrice and also with me and my husband, as much as possible. You will received a weekly feed (about 60 euros). You won't do the cleanings, just helping us in little daily duties like tidy up, together with us, after lunch/dinner, tidy up your room...etc..

Accommodation

We live in a detached house (160 squaremetres) with a garden, in a quite and peaceful residential area, close to the town hystorical centre. There's a bus stop right in the front of our house, where the bus can take you to the trainstation (7 minutes). At the trainstation you can find buses for all directions, frequent runs. We have moved in this house 2 years ago after a building renovation.

We live in Perugia, a small town (160.000 inhabitants) in the centre of Italy, 2 hours driving far from Rome and Florence.
Perugia is an important hystorical centre, with a golden medieval/renaissance past. Students come from all the parts of Italy because of its ancient and qualified Universities, also University for foreigners and Conservatory are attended from students from all over the world. It's a quite town with interesting cultural and popular events, and a lively nightlife for youngs and students.
