HI! I'm Lucia, I was born in Forte dei Marmi, a place by the sea. I studied Medicine in Florence and I currently work as a freelance doctor both in Prato (near Florence) and in Forte dei Marmi. I am currently single and trying to get pregnant. I think this is a unique adventure for both of us to help each other as two friends. I'd like to give you the opportunity to get to know Italy, and learn our language if you want, to be in contact with italian people, and be able to taste our cuisine (we all cook well at home!).
Living in Tuscany you will be able to appreciate everything that is talked about in the world: Art, culture, fashion, but above all you will be able to do it not as a tourist!
What I expect from your stay at my house is: help in my travels between the two cities, or when shopping at the supermarket, in shops, or running small errands.
As you can imagine, if I get pregnant, I'll have to pay more attention to my health and that of the baby. If during your stay the child will born, I will need a few hours of help. I don't need you to do house cleaning, rather I'm looking for a girl who can help me like a nanny. Then there will also be my family to help me with the baby. Where I live in Prato is in an apartment in the centre, you have bus station at 300 mt from home, train station al 2 km from home. From Prato you are able to travel to Rome in 2 hours and Milan 3 hours. For going to Firenze you need 20 minutes.
Forte dei Marmi is a small city, we are 400 mt from the beach, where you can take a walk or going to take the sun or swimming. You can travel from Prato to Forte in 1,5 hours by train, with car we need 1,15 hours. Prato is in the centre of Tuscany, so you can visit quickly : Lucca, Pisa, Siena, Lerici, Arezzo, etc... In forte dei marmi you can move with bicycle or bus. The nearly train station is Massa Carrara and you need 5 minutes. In Prato we have a private school of language near my home, only 3 km.
