Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear au pair, we are looking forward to add your plate at our table! We are a small family coming from different parts of Italy and living in Rome. During your stay with us you will have time to discover Rome and Lazio Region, as well as Region Abruzzo were we have our olive farm, and Liguria Region where mum Sabina is from. We are sociable people: we love meeting with other families and have dinners together, visit other parts of Italy or organise fun activities with our kids. Some of our friend have kids in their twenties so that could be an occasion to make friends in Itlay right from the beginning of your stay. We are looking for someone who could speak English with our son Ettore, but we'll be delighted to teach you Italian and Italian cuisine.

Job Description

We expect our au-pair's routing to be structured around Ettore's routine. After breakfast Ettore goes to school from monday to friday, 8.30 am - 4.00 pm. We will ask you to take him to school with the bus and to pick him up when he finishes to take him to do his sports. Everything can be done with public transports.
You will be expected to keep your space clean and tidy and to help keeping Ettore's room tidy. The rest of the time you'll be free to organise it as you prefer, a part from when mum Sabina is away for work. In those occasion you will be asked to give a bit of extra help with the house work.
Ettore has some medical routine to follow in the morning and in the evening: mum takes care of it but you will have to be aware of how to do it, just in case it may be needed.

Accommodation

We live in a flat of 110 m2 with a balcony running all around on three sides . We have a large day area with the kitchen and the living room where we spend a lot of our family time together. We have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a studio with a sofa bed. The studio will be your room and you will have one of the bathrooms for yourself.
