Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Our family values time spent together, whether it’s gaming, enjoying music, or exploring the outdoors. We have two lovely children who are looking forward to meeting you and spending time learning and having fun under your care. You will play an integral role in our household, helping with childcare, light meal preparations, and supporting our day-to-day routines.

To help you get settled, here’s some useful information about the area:

City Center: The Sydney Central Business District (CBD) is approximately 48 kilometers from Caddens. It can be reached via the T1 train line, which is a direct route from nearby Kingswood Station or Werrington Station. The journey to the city takes roughly an hour, making it a manageable trip for weekends and exploration.

Language School: If you are looking to improve your language skills, there are several options in the area. One of the closest is Western Sydney University, Penrith Campus, which is just a short distance from Caddens. They offer various educational programs that may include language courses.

Public Transport: We are well-connected by public transport. The nearest bus stops are just a 3-minute walk away on O’Connell Street, and Kingswood Station is about a 23-minute walk. Both provide easy access to nearby suburbs and the city. The 770 and 774 buses run regularly and can take you to Penrith and other local areas.

We believe you will enjoy your time here with us, both at home and in our vibrant local community. You’ll have your own room where you can relax and unwind, and we encourage you to make it your own. Additionally, you’ll have access to our family vehicle, which will make it easier to run errands or explore the area.

We look forward to creating many happy memories with you and appreciate your role in making our home a warm and harmonious place.
