Hi my future Au Pair & Nanny,

Welcome! I’m so excited to get to know you and hopefully welcome you into our family.

I live in Tainan, a city rich in history, cultural charm, and famously known as the food capital of Taiwan. It’s one of the most beloved destinations for travelers. Our home is located in the heart of the city with very convenient transportation. Just across the street is National Cheng Kung University, one of Taiwan’s top universities. It’s a beautiful campus with excellent teachers and is a great place to attend language school if you’re interested in learning Chinese or improving other language skills.

We hope you’ll find Tainan not only a comfortable place to live, but also an inspiring place to explore and grow. More than just a job, we hope this experience becomes a cultural exchange and a warm memory for both you and our family.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities would include helping with the children—especially on weekends when they’re home and active—and assisting with some light laundry and clothing organization. On weekdays, all three kids attend the bilingual school from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, so your help would be mostly appreciated outside of those hours.

Working hours and salary can be discussed and arranged reasonably and flexibly based on mutual expectations and needs. We truly value open communication and are committed to creating a supportive and fair environment for you.

My husband runs his own business, and I assist him from time to time, along with managing my own investments and studies. When I have free time, I enjoy playing tennis, badminton, and going to the gym.

We are looking for someone with strong values, a responsible attitude, and a sincere desire to grow and learn. Patience and kindness are essential, especially when caring for children with different personalities and needs. You should be someone who:
• genuinely enjoys spending time with kids,
• can stay calm and positive even in noisy or chaotic moments,
• communicates clearly and respectfully,
• is proactive and observant,
• and is willing to work as part of a team with us.

A good sense of balance between warmth and discipline would be ideal—someone who can set healthy boundaries while still making the children feel safe and loved.

For language, we hope you are able to communicate in English comfortably. Or maybe mandarin (Chinese) or German.

As for your living space, you’ll have your own private floor in our home, which includes a bedroom, shower room, and a wardrobe. The house is also equipped with an elevator, so your space will be easily accessible and completely private. We want you to feel at home, supported, and comfortable during your time with us.
