Introduction to Our Host Family in Taiyuan, China
We are a warm and harmonious family of four living in Taiyuan, the capital city of Shanxi Province, China. All family members have no bad habits. Below is detailed information about our family and living environment.
1. Family Members
- Father: A power engineer who works diligently. Due to the nature of his job, his work schedule is somewhat irregular, and he often needs to go on business trips.
- Mother: A university teacher with an outgoing personality and good communication skills. She keeps a regular daily routine (usually synchronized with the baby’s) and has a stable work schedule and pace.
- Grandmother: She holds traditional Chinese family values, devotes herself silently to the family without complaint, and is mainly responsible for the baby’s daily care (including meals and daily routines) and housework.
- Baby: A 2-year-old child who is just learning to speak. He/She is the core of the family and the source of joy.
2. Living City & Surroundings
- City Advantages: Taiyuan enjoys convenient transportation. It is about 500 kilometers away from Beijing, and the high-speed train ride to Beijing takes only around 3 hours. The city is home to many ancient buildings, as well as various museums and concert venues, boasting a rich cultural atmosphere.
- Nearby Facilities: There is a subway station about 300 meters from our home, with direct access to the railway station and airport. The residential community has a pleasant environment and convenient shopping options. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the hospital.
3. Living Conditions
- Our house covers an area of approximately 200 square meters, with 4 bedrooms, providing ample living space.
- We will provide the au pair with a bright, private room equipped with basic furniture such as a bed, a wardrobe, and an air conditioner to meet daily living needs.
