Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair,

My husband and I welcomed our son Ettore on May 22nd 2024 and we are looking for an au pair, who would come to live with us in the beautiful vineyard area of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in Italy, to help us with our newborn. We both work and therefore will need help to take care of our baby during the day from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm. We currently have an au pair who will be staying with us this year, so we are starting to look for an au pair who would join us as of January/February 2026.

I grew up in Geneva (Switzerland) with au pairs, and I have the best childhood memories ever with them. We hope to find in you a reliable person, who loves children and will enjoy spending time with our family and helping us in our day-to-day lives. Since my husband is Italian and I am Swiss, we always speak English at home, so we would like to find a native english speaking au pair, to make it easier for our son to learn English.

We will be providing a separate bedroom and bathroom, or a small studio apartment. We will share further details about the place and accommodations once we get in touch.

We look forward to hearing from you!
Lara and Michele
