Welcome to Wainui Beach! we live just outside of Gisborne, New Zealand, and have been here for ten years. My parents moved here just over a year ago and live in a house down the street. Wainui is about a 5 minute drive to town. The city population is about 40,000 with all of the expected amenities. Our neighborhood has its own cafe, Mexican cantina, and general store. It is a family friendly community on the beach with bike paths into town.

Job Description

In exchange for rent and a stipend of $350 NZD a week, we are looking for someone to room with and help look after my parents. The job primarily involves duties in the evenings and on weekends. During the day, other caretakers come in from 8-5. The live in caretaker would be preparing meal kits for dinners and helping my father with eating dinner. I will also help with these tasks, frequency and nights to be determined. The live-in caretaker would help on weekends and potentially fill in when other caretakers are not available. The live-in would be compensated additionally for additional duties.
