Welcome to our family! We are absolutely thrilled to open our home and hearts to you as you embark on this exciting journey in Yangzhou. As your host family, we want you to feel completely at ease here – consider our house your own home, where you can freely relax, share meals with us, and create wonderful memories together.
Our family consists of four members: My wife Christine and I (both working as civil servants in local government), along with our two daughters – Emily, 14, who loves painting and playing volleyball, and Kayla, 10, a lively little bookworm always ready to tell funny stories. We live in a cozy four-bedroom apartment near the Grand Canal, with a sunny guest room prepared just for you.
Yangzhou, known as the "City of Moonlight and Bridges," offers a perfect blend of ancient gardens and modern city life. We'd love to take you to taste authentic Huaiyang cuisine (our family specialty is braised lion's head meatballs!), explore the Slender West Lake by boat, and cycle through the historic hutongs on weekends.
