We live in Bologna, a safe, lovely and historical town in the heart of Italy. It boasts excellent cuisine, a medieval architecture, cultural sites, one of the largest universities in Europe and definitely the oldest in the Western world, a lot of youth, fancy venues for entertainment. While the town is beautiful in and of itself, it is well connected to famous cities such as Rome, Venice, Florence and Milan by high-speed trains. Bologna also has a convenient airport from where to fly everywhere in Europe.
Our house is located few steps away from one of the largest parks in town. It takes you 20 minutes on foot to get to the city center and even less by bicycle. Bicycle sharing is available everywhere. We have a bus stop just across from our garden and the bus takes you to the train station and from there to the airport and back.

Descrizione del Lavoro

Looking after our 6-year-old Penelope for a few hours a day. Playing and speaking English with her. Taking her to school or picking her up from school. Taking her to other venues for sporting activities and the like. Most of all, having fun together. Penelope has her own nanny and she will be around taking care of the house, as I and my husband spend long hours at work. We also have a cleaning lady. With an au pair, we just look for a friend or, if you will, an older sister for Penelope for a few months a year.

Alloggio dell'AuPair

The Au pair will have her own bedroom and her own bathroom not to be shared with anybody. Privacy is guaranteed by the fact that bedroom and bathroom are at the opposite side of the house from where our bedrooms are. Two private balconies are also available. The apartment is on the ground floor and has a private garden. We do have WiFi.
