Hi! My name is Piper :) I am currently a neuroscience student at a university located in Chicago, which is where I was also born and raised. I am the oldest of three and absolutely love spending time with children. I am hopeful to continue to advance in my work with child psychology. Kids inspire me to lead by example, and slow down to enjoy the overlooked parts of life. I am hopeful to build a close bond with my host family and be somewhat of an older sister to the children. I would love to help your child improve their English, to explore the city with them, and help you to live your day to day life with less stress! I adore children who have hobbies and activities that they enjoy so that I can engage and even learn from them. Being from a big city, I am eager to apply the time I have spent learning French specifically in Paris. I am very accustomed to city life, and hope to raise a family of my own in this type of setting one day. I want to include that I have had my drivers license since I was 16 years old and am very comfortable with driving in case your family requires it. I would be very interested in taking French classes while I am there so that I can improve my skills and meet other au pairs! I fortunately do already have some good friends from home living in Paris, and a lot of experience being far away from home myself, so there is no need to worry about me getting home sick.
