Halloha, Dear host family,

My name is Jiake, and I’m from Hainan, the southernmost province of China. I’m a cheerful, open-minded person who loves learning new things and experiencing different cultures.

For the past 6 months, I’ve been working as an au pair in Hamburg with a lovely family of 3 children (ages 4, 5, and 7). My daily responsibilities include preparing simple meals, orizing creative and outdoor activities, and supporting the family with some household routines. This experience has taught me how to better understand children and truly connect with them through play and creative activities. I’ve also learned the importance of positive communication in becoming part of my host family. Living here has deepened my interest in German culture and language, and I’ve really enjoyed every moment of it. That’s why I’m excited to continue this journey in another city and experience life with a new family.

Before this, I grew up in a big family surrounded by cousins, nieces, and nephews, so being around children has always been natural for me. We often played games, painted, did crafts, and enjoyed sports together—I truly enjoy seeing the world through their eyes.

I also have experience as an online Chinese tutor, which not only improved my teaching skills but also strengthened my ability to communicate across cultures—something I really value. If you are interested, I’d be happy to share my language and culture with your children in a fun way :D

Outside of childcare, I love portrait photography, reading, and sports. I’m especially passionate about German literature and film, which inspired me to start learning German. Exploring new cultures is something I truly enjoy, and I’d love to continue this journey with your family.

As an au pair, I’m happy to help with some light household tasks, orize engaging activities for your children, and bring warmth and positive energy to your home. I will be available to start at the beginning of November.
