My name is Clara, I’m 19 years old, and I am studying Law in Trinity College Dublin. I’m someone who enjoys learning about new cultures, meeting people, and most of all—spending time with children. I would love the opportunity to join your family as an au pair and be part of your daily life.

I want to become an au pair because I believe it’s a unique and meaningful way to experience life in another country while doing something that truly matters—supporting families and helping children grow. I have always loved working with kids, whether it’s helping my young cousins, babysitting, or volunteering. I enjoy playing, reading stories, doing crafts, and creating fun, educational moments in a safe and caring environment.

I think I would be a great fit for your family because I am responsible, positive, and genuinely care about making children feel happy and supported. I’m also respectful of routines and open to adapting to your family’s needs and way of life. I see being an au pair not just as a job, but as a cultural exchange where I can learn from you, while also bringing joy, patience, and helpfulness to your home.

Additionally, I have lived with host families in Spain twice. I stayed with a family in Benalmadena for 2 weeks in 2019 while I took a summer language course. In 2022, I spent 2 months in Elche, living as a student and valued member of a host family. These were enriching and amazing experiences and helped me grow as a person and improve my Spanish speaking skills and confidence.

I believe I’m qualified for this position because I have experience looking after children, I’m able to take initiative when needed, and I bring a calm and caring presence to any situation. I’m also eager to learn, whether it’s improving my language skills, helping with schoolwork, or learning new games and traditions from your family.
