Dear future host family,
I am excited to start a new journey of my life and to get to know more about you and your family. But first a little introduction to myself.

My name is Elsa and I’m 19 years old. I recently graduated high school with a degree in hair and makeup so I’m ready to play dress up or make the coolest braid in school. I currently live in Mariestad, a town near Sweden's biggest lake, Vänern together with my mom who works in Frivården where she helps people get free from a criminal life. I visit my dad sometime on weekends and holidays as he lives 2.5 hours away where he works at our family business as a plumber. I have an older brother who is currently pursuing a law degree at Linköping university.

As a person I would describe myself as driven, creative and someone who hates being late. I love to connect with new people and learn about their story and culture. Cheerleading used to be a big part of my life, still is but not in the same capacity as a year ago, where I both practiced the sport myself but also coached 7-9 year olds for a year. I’d would consider these kids kinda like my own as they all were so amazing. Other than that, I work on a play here in Sweden as their head of makeup and have a passion for young entrepreneurship where I help organise small events for local young entrepreneurs. My experience working with kids more than as a cheer coach as stated above includes a three week summer job where I worked as a helper for a summer care for children ages 8-10.

My goals with being an au pair is learning about a culture from within and connect more with my Norwegian culture as my mom was born in Norway. I would like to learn more about normal day to day life and improve my Norwegian to speak more fluently. I want to truly become a part of your family and community.
