Hello! My name is Mia and I have been working with children for over 6 years now. I first started as a general babysitter and absolutely loved it. I completed my GCSE’s and instantly got a job working full time in a nursery, I stayed there for 10 months caring for children from 3 months to 4 years. After that I worked as a play worker at an afterschool and holiday club and proceeded to get promoted to team leader, deputy manager and finally the manager. Since this was just after school hours I had lots of spare time in my mornings and also evenings so I also worked either as a private nanny or a nursery practitioner. For about 4 years now I have been a private nanny for twin boys, I do their bedtime routine with them multiple days a week and occasionally on weekends I will take them to the park, soft play, and any other activities they want to do. I truly love working with children and building a bond with them, I’m very passionate for educating children through play, I love to be outside in nature as I believe that is the most beneficial ways for children to experience life. I have many years of training such as: safeguarding, autism, paediatric first aid, EYFS, intimate care and managing behaviour (as well as my manager training - data protection, managing a team, organising etc).
