Layne (25 / Ms. ), American, Engineer living in Netherlands looking for Au Pair job in Spain for 1-2 Months

Hello! My name is Layne, and I am originally from Austin Texas, however I am currently completing my masters in the Netherlands in Urbanism Engineering. I am looking for an Au Pair job this summer (end of June to end of July) during my summer vacation. I want to see more of Europe, learn more languages, and meet people with different perspectives and life experiences. I am a curious, adaptable, and adventurous woman who loves learning and researching as well as exploring and meeting new people. I especially loved math, science, and reading as a kid, so my nannying style is based around educating, deep conversations, and exploration! I also grew up swimming and running, so physical activity is important to me. However, I do understand the importance of relaxing and resting and finding a balance between all of the above activities. My native language is English, butI have been working at a Mexican Restaurant and wish to practice my Spanish as much as possible. As a teenager and young adult I spent many days babysitting, teaching swimming, and working at summer camps. One summer I was a backpacking guide in Colorado, so I understand the beauty of nature as well as the caution that comes with being in the wild. I think I am a very unique, fun, and thoughtful friend, and I know I would love being an Au Pair. I hope you will take me into consideration, and I hope to hear from you!
