Sonya (23 / Ms. ), Russian, Teacher living in Russian Federation looking for Au Pair job in USA for 10-12 Months

Dear host family,

thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

My name is Sofia, and I am 23 years old. I grew up in Russia in the village of Volokonovka with my sister Lisa (17 years old). Our parents ' names are Tatiana and Sergey, my mother works as a chef in a local restaurant, and my father is a truck driver . I have a very loving relationship to all of them, what becomes pretty noticeable by the way we’re dealing with each others, such as we love to play games together or sing flat some songs. My parents both support my decision to go as an au pair. At the moment I work as a tutor at the school, I individually deal with a boy who has a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, we teach the alphabet together, try to read syllables, write numbers with him .I also have the rate of a teacher of additional education. I conduct classes mainly with younger children. Together with them, we studied the nature around us, engaged in needlework, and then organized exhibitions of children's works especially for their parents. Children really like it, because it is an opportunity to show their parents, although still small, but already achievements.

I have always loved children very much, and I think that they also love me.
I want to share with you my first experience with children. It was even when my younger sister was born, even then I began to gain experience in interaction with children.

In my free time, I paint pictures by numbers. In the summer, I often go swimming on the river with my younger brothers. I love taking pictures, walking in the fresh air, especially in the evening. I dream of having a family and many children. I really love animals, especially dogs. I always wanted to have a retriever dog in my house.

My main goal is to learn more about your culture and lifestyle, as well as gain more experience in communicating with children, because this is very important for me as a teacher

I think I can be an au pair because I'm a very responsible person and I'm not afraid of difficulties.
