Dear Future Host Family ,
My name is Alisia, I am 19 years old and originally from Berlin, Germany. At the moment, I am living in Sweden as an Au Pair, where I take care of three children. This experience has shown me how much I enjoy being part of a family’s daily life, supporting with care, household tasks, and bringing positive energy into the home.
Even before coming to Sweden, I often looked after children in my family circle and among friends. During school, I also gave tutoring lessons to younger students to earn a little extra, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how rewarding it is to help others grow.
Besides childcare, I have always had a strong connection to animals. I grew up with dogs, used to walk them regularly, and even now I am happy to be surrounded by pets. Caring for animals has taught me empathy, reliability, and the importance of creating a calm, safe environment.
All these experiences, from childcare to tutoring to looking after pets, have prepared me well for this program. They reflect that I am responsible, caring, and used to adapting to different needs and situations.
