zuni (18 / Ms. ), Swedish & American, Waiter/Waitress living in Sweden looking for Au Pair job in Australia & New Zealand for 10-12 Months

Dear Host Family,

My name is Zuni, I am a Swedish-American girl with a love for children and a passion for adventure. I am a positive, energetic and adventurous person. I like to keep busy, wether that means a day inside full of fort building and arts and crafts, or a day enjoying the fresh air and exploring the world. I absolutely LOVE the water. Sweden has over 90 000 lakes so swimming was alway one of my favourite activities. I love trying and learning new things (bucket list: learn how to surf), and I try to motivate others to do the same.
Having grown up in both America and Sweden, I have been exposed to diverse cultures and developed a deep appreciation for the enriching experiences that come with embracing different ways of life.

The idea of being an au pair isn't just a job to me, it's a unique opportunity to expand my horizons as well as be apart of a fun and exiting experience for your kids. I am exited about sharing my own traditions, language and experiences with your family, while simultaneously learning about yours. I believe that this culture exchange will not only enrich my life but also create a lasting bond with your family.

Your children's safety and happiness is always a top priority, discussing your central values as a family will insure that we are on the same page in this mater. I love engaging children in creative and educational actives. I will not be partaking in any typ of passive child care, I will be making sure to spend quality time with them and get to know them as individuals. Being present in the moment is vary important to me, I think showing the children that I want to be here spending time with them is vitel when creating a bond with mutual respect and trust. I hope to be a friend but also a role model that your kids can look to for guidance.

I have a lot of experience with child care. I have been a swim instructor since i was 13 years old. I have taught children between the ages of 3-12 years old, some times being responsible for 10 kids a once. It has taught me how to teach kids and cater to there individual needs. I learned the importance of patience and respect.
I am CPR certified, infant CPR certified and trained in basic first aid.
I have been babysitting off and on since i was 13 as well, taking care of kids ranging from 6 months to 10 years old. I am also a generally organised person. I like to clean and I try to always keep my space neat.
I am currently finishing my high school diploma, it is a program specialising in math and science.
