Hello!
My name is Kate and I just graduated from university with my bachelors degree in biology. I plan to go to medical school within the next year, but would like to take time to see a little bit more of the world before I go back to school. I am 22 years old and have lots of baby siting experience, though I have never been a live-in nanny. I am pretty neat and tidy and enjoy baking, painting and drawing, and exploring outside. I also played soccer/football for most of my life and love playing and watching! I love pets of all kinds and am pretty easygoing and self sufficient! I have a drivers license and have been driving since I was 15 years old.

Experience

While I don’t have experience living-in as an Au Pair, I have done lots of babysitting and nannying over the years for kids ages 6 months to 8 years old. I have CPR and First aid training. I would love to become an Au Pair abroad as a way to travel and really get to know the culture of a place by being part of a family. I have lived abroad before in Nepal in a host house with many different workers and volunteers and helped teach English in and health classes at a few local schools. I feel as though you can really become part of the community rather than just a tourist and gain life-long relationships.
